Someone to Wipe Away My Tears?

  • Eating: My heart out
  • Drinking: My sorrow
Time and time again, I stood beside you.
Time and time again, I listened.
Time and time again, the bad thoughts I erased.
And time and time again, I wiped the tears from your face.

But someone, please, someone tell me,
Who will stand to wipe away my tears?
But someone, please, someone tell me,
Who will stand to dash away my fears?

You fell, I picked you up.
You failed, I helped you succeed.
I fell, and hit the ground.
I failed, and I wrote this poem.

How can I spend the rest of my life with you
If you won't share your thoughts and words with me?

A testament to a man found wanting
And a woman too good to oblige.
